From the very beginning of her education, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has shown her love of learning and reading, quest for knowledge with her own nature to explore and seek knowledge from her surroundings. Her Royal Highness studied for a Bachelor's and two Masters' with focuses on Arts and Humanities, following by a Doctorate in Development Education which is an interdisciplinary study covering a wide variety of related disciplines essential for the development of the nation. Not surprisingly, her learning interest has extended far beyond variety of disciplines, including geography, science and technology.

History was the first discipline chosen to study and has become the branch of knowledge Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has used in her teaching career at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy up until now. In pursuit of learning, Her Royal Highness continues to study and attend training courses regularly to broaden her knowledge. Apart from her official profession as a teacher and her royal duties assigned by Their Majesties the King and Queen, Her Royal Highness undertakes many royal duties on her own which cover many areas, from public health and nutrition to conservation of natural resources.
