Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the Meeting receiving a progress report on the construction of the Royal Crematorium and its auxiliary structures, as well as the restoration of the Royal Chariots, Royal Palanquins and related accoutrements for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of the late Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, at the Fine Arts Department Building in Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to the Alliance Francaise Bangkok in Pathumwan District to receive the Grand Prix Rayonnement Francais, in recognition of Her Royal Highness's dedicated efforts in promoting French language education and scientific advancement in Thailand, following an invitation from His Excellency Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand.
